The apéritif

Cosmopolitan, as made at The Odeon, Tribeca

Build the Cosmopolitan as Toby Cecchini made it there in 1988.

The recipe: 2 : 1 : 1 : 1

  • Citrus vodka: 2 parts (40%)
  • Cointreau: 1 part (20%)
  • Fresh lime juice: 1 part (20%)
  • Cranberry juice: 1 part (20%)

Shaken, strained, lemon twist.

Cecchini’s version at The Odeon: two parts citrus vodka to one each of Cointreau, lime and cranberry. The IBA standard pours more cranberry: 40 ml citron vodka, 15 Cointreau, 15 lime, 30 cranberry.
