Build the Margarita in its classic proportions, as Difford’s Guide gives them.
The recipe: 2 : 1 : 1
- Blanco tequila: 2 parts (50%)
- Triple sec: 1 part (25%)
- Fresh lime juice: 1 part (25%)
Shaken, fine-strained, lime wedge.
Difford’s Guide: classically 2 parts tequila, 1 part triple sec and 1 part lime juice. Its own recipe pours 1½, ¾ and ¾ oz, with a touch of agave to taste.
