Greenwich Village has 8 ranked burgers spread across a wide quality range. Lord's (9.4) leads with its Welsh Rarebit Cheeseburger, one of the most memorable burgers in the city, which reached the Hall of Fame tier after a September 2026 revisit. It is limited at dinner and listed at weekend brunch. Yesterday's (8.9) follows on Bleecker Street with a wagyu burger whose beef quality and balance run well past its bar-food presentation. Butter Smashburgers (8.0) follows on MacDougal Street, the best cheap burger in the neighborhood by a clear margin.
