Best Burgers in Meatpacking

The Meatpacking District holds one of the best burgers in New York and one of the most ordinary, with very little in between. Chez Margaux (9.4) ranks #5 citywide, the Jean-Georges members' club burger that is near impossible to get into unless you know someone. Pastis (7.7) by Keith McNally delivers a perfectly competent bistro burger. Nothing more, nothing less. The district still leans toward scenes over substance, but its ceiling is no longer a compromise.
